The gas export from Azerbaijan for Jan-Jun 2016 declined by 25.54% in physical and by 52.15% in financial terms year-on-year that does not surprise as in June gas export was absent fully.
The State Customs Committee (SCC) reports that since early 2016 the volume of gas directed for export totaled 714.396 million cu m versus 895.927 million a year before and income from it $113.97 million against $43.88 million.
Over Jan-Jun 2016 the share of gas in total exports amounted to 2.98% against 1.76% in 2015, 1.4% in 2014, 2.93% in 2013, 2.71% in 2012 and 2.61% in 2011.
The export price for Jan-Jun 2016 reached $159.54 per 1,000 cu m.
Since this April the SCC has not published the data on gas condensate export via BTC pipeline.
For Jan-Mar 2016 Azerbaijan exported 626,129 tons of gas condensate via BTC pipeline against 543,006 tons for Jan-Mar 2015.
In 2015 (acc. to control-measuring devices) country’s gas export totaled 8.405 bn cu m versus 8.565 bn cu m for 2014.
In January 2015 gas export totaled 844.1 million cu m, in February 817.187 million cu m, in March 816.556 million cu m, in April 715.686 million cu m, in May 699.8 million cu m, in June 704.7 million cu m, in July 1.258 bn cu m (the best index for 2015), in August 154.476 million cu m, in September 606.99 million cu m, in October 772.3 million cu m, in November 803.353 million cu m, and in December 841.78 million cu m.
According to cargo customs entries, it was registered 1.275 bn cu m for $20.739 million for 2015 versus 1.825 bn cu m for $304.68 million for 2014.
As a result, physical export of gas fell almost by 30% and income from it by 34.1%.
The export price in 2015 remained effective - $158.4 per 1,000 cu m, compared to internal prices.
In January it reached $161.77, in February fell to $46.17, in March grew up to $169.3, in April $169.63, in May $167.6, in June $164.77, in July $364.33, in August $179.2, in September $173.33, in October declined again to $108.8, but in November grew up to $124, and in December reached $143.
As a result, in February it was 2.1-fold less than the internal gas price of 100 manat or $95.26, while between March and November exceeded it.
In 2015 the gas share in the overall export reached 1.76% versus 1.4% in 2014, 2.93% in 2013, 2.71% in 2012 and 2.61% in 2011.
In 2015 Azerbaijan exported 2.157 million tons of gas condensate via BTC pipeline against 2.195 million tons for 2014.
